Terms of Service

By using AULIM, you agree to these simple terms.

Who we are

AULIM is a small curated lifestyle shop — "small joys, considered." We work with vetted suppliers and partner warehouses, not a single in-house factory. We currently ship within the United States only.

Using the shop

  • You must be at least 18 (or have parental consent) to make a purchase
  • Don't use the shop to do anything illegal, harmful, or dishonest
  • Don't try to scrape, hack, or disrupt the site
  • Product photos and descriptions are for the actual items — but small variations in tone, texture, or finish are normal for handmade pieces

Pricing & availability

Prices are in USD. We can change prices and availability without notice. If we make a pricing error, we'll honor the lower of the two for orders already placed, or contact you to correct it.

Orders & payment

  • Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We accept it by sending an order confirmation
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (suspected fraud, address mismatch, stock issue)
  • Payment is processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe — full PCI compliance

Intellectual property

The AULIM name, logo, photography, and copy are ours. Don't copy, repackage, or pass them off as yours. Product images we license from suppliers retain their respective rights.

Liability

AULIM isn't liable for incidental damages from product use. Items are intended for normal decorative or personal use — not for safety-critical applications. Use candles, lamps, etc. responsibly (don't leave unattended, follow product warnings).

Battery-powered items (LED lamps, etc.)

Some pieces (like our rechargeable LED wall lamps) contain lithium-ion batteries. Please:

  • Do not puncture, dismantle, or expose to high heat
  • Charge only with the included or compatible USB-C cable
  • If the battery swells or smokes, stop use and contact us — do not return Li-ion items via standard mail (most carriers prohibit damaged Li-ion shipping). We will arrange safe disposal/replacement
  • End-of-life: recycle Li-ion items at a battery recycling drop-off, not household trash

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and any applicable consumer protection law in your state.
